Toyoda Gosei, a division of the Japanese auto giant Toyota and specializing in the production of plastic and rubber components for the automotive industry, introduced the unique concept Flesby II Concept in Tokyo.
A feature of the prototype is that its body is made of rubber, which is designed to protect pedestrians as much as possible. As representatives of Japanese company Toyoda Gosei have told, the rubber concept Flesby II Concept is a vision of compact city cars of 2030. Important is the fact that the body of the conceptual prototype Toyoda Gosei Flesby II Concept is made of the so-called e-rubber material, which can be modified by the action of an electric current. Thus, the concept is able to change its shape.
The green body elements of the prototype Flesby II Concept are made of translucent rubber, under which there are special LED elements. If necessary, they can display information for other road users. The same materials are used in interior design. In addition, the Tokyo Auto Show 2017 will be the premiere of the conceptual interior, and the concept of the front of the car from Toyoda Gosei.
